WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR SPORTS MASSAGE 

01. Assessment

I will ask you about any areas of pain / discomfort / muscle stiffness you may be experiencing. I may also perform a physical assessment to evaluate your range of motion, areas of tension, flexibility.

02. Treatment

Sports massage focuses on specific muscle groups that are experiencing pain / discomfort / stiffness. Always begins with warming each area, then work more deeply to break down knots in muscle fibers.

03. Communication

Throughout the session, I will check in with you to ensure the pressure and technique being used are comfortable. Let me know if you’re experiencing any pain or discomfort before, during or after your treatment or if you have any pre-existing conditions - This will help me tailor massage to your specific needs.

04. Aftercare

I will go over post-massage care with you. I may also give you stretches/exercise to maintain the benefits of the massage.
